| The use of baskets is recommended to protect the tank bottom and the transducers from damage. | |||
| Baskets EW3 through EW22: are constructed of 304 stainless steel #4 woven wire mesh, .028 wire diameter with 22 gage and 24 gage rim and handle material. Maximum weight capacity is 5 pounds. Basket handles are intended to allow the basket to rest on the rim of our tank. They are flat and extend outward from the basket. | |||
| Baskets EW24 and larger: depending or size are constructed of perforated metal or #3 welded mesh, .047 wire diameter and 1/4" rod framework, rail handle and legs. The top rail handles are 3 " from both ends of the basket. The bottom legs are 1/2" in length. Baskets can be manufactured with #4 welded mesh, .032 wire diameter but a woven mesh cannot be used. These baskets are custom made for each order. Customers can request baskets with different dimensions - baskets can be made smaller but we do not recommend they be made larger than the dimensions indicated for the units above. | |||
| The SU baskets are built smaller than the tank by about 1/2" depth and by 1 "-2" in width and length. | |||
